Description

The Lebanon VA Medical Center has a requirement for Project No.VA-244-RQ-0687, Warehouse Epoxy Flooring. A Firm-Fixed Price Service award is anticipated. Application of epoxy floor coating to warehouse floor consisting of 7,935 square feet. Contractor will fill all expansion joints with traffic grade urethane caulking, prep entire area using shot blast and diamond grinders. Apply a 100% solids pigmented epoxy primer coat at approx. 5 mils thickness over all areas. Apply a 100% solids epoxy body coat at approx. 10 mils thickness and backroll to a smooth texture. Following cure of the epoxy coating apply a finish coat of high solids polyurethane. Contractor will include colored lines to outline safety areas directed by customer. Asbestos removal in Break-room will be separate from this requirement. Lebanon VA will supply a dumpster on site for debris. This requirement is a 100% set-aside for Small Businesses. A solicitation document will be available electronically on or about September 1, 2011, at the following website: www.fbo.gov. Bidders will search for solicitation VA-244-11-RQ-0687 to access solicitation documents and any Amendments. INTERESTED PARTIES ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO REGISTER TO RECEIVE NOTIFICATION OF ACTIONS INCLUDING POSTING OF THE SOLICITATION AND ANY AMENDMENTS. HOWEVER, OFFERORS ARE ADVISED TO CHECK THE SIGHT FREQUENTLY AS THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR OBTAINING AMENDMENTS. The NAICS Code for this project is 238330. Period of Performance is 3 weekends during the month of October. Bidders are advised that it is your responsibility to review and monitor the website frequently to ensure you have the most up to date information, including amendments.
