Description
Commercial contract clauses Contractor shall furnish all material, equipment, supplies, labor, and supervision to perform work required for this Scope of Work (SOW). This Project (Relocation and alteration of Spacesaver High-Density Files) will reference two locations: US Custom Border Patrol (Port of Atlanta), 4341 International Parkway Atlanta, GA 30354; and 157 Tradeport Place, Atlanta GA 30354. This specialty equipment weighs approximately 13,959.92lbs and will be moved three (3) blocks (1/2 mile) from the current location. This relocation is required to start in October 2011 and be completed within 90 days of start date. KEY PERFORMANCE OUTCOMES The contractor shall dismantle and reinstall 13, 88 ¼ x 30'' laminated carriages, move the files and contents with consideration for alteration and or modification of the system necessary to fit the new space. The contractor shall provide tracks, rails, and electrical configurations to the existing Spacesaver file system for the expansion of the new system. The contractor shall insure availability, security, identification and inventory of all files before, during and after the move. The contractor shall stage files when removed from high-density filing system such that all are available for tenant use while the move is taking place and provide a schedule that displays the staging of the file move in phases. The contractor shall submit a proposal for adding six (6) additional carriages to integrate with the existing Spacesaver file system for expansion; as well as upgrading/ replacing/ and reconfiguring any inoperable controls. The contractor shall supply any additional equipment or materials needed in order to complete the installation. The contractor is responsible for providing properly trained and/or certified supervisory and experienced personnel for each phase of work. This work shall be performed during normal working hours of the tenant. As a convenience and courtesy to the building's tenants, all work is to be performed with as little noise, disruption or interference as possible in the tenant's daily operations. (After-hours/weekend work may be applicable). The contractor shall provide a proposed 90 day schedule of project completion for approval by the Government. SAFETY: Contractor shall provide any materials, barriers, and safety equipment for the protection of tenants and property during the implementation of this contract. II. Project Inspections Inspection and acceptance shall be held upon completion of the project. This inspection shall serve as the acceptance and approval of the work area. III EVALUATION FACTORS Past Performance: Please provide two examples of similar work performed in the last five years. Technical Capability: Proposal/Offer should address required delivery dates and all aspects of relocation, alteration, file security/availability and additional unit integration. Price: Proposal/Offer should address all aspects of project in a detailed format. IV SITE VISIT A (single) site visit is scheduled for Thursday, 15SEP2011 at the U. S.
