Description

The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract on a sole source basis to TA Instruments “ Waters LLC, 159 Lukens Dr., New Castle, DE 19720 the manufacturer for: (1) 533002.901HR-2 Discovery Hybrid Rheometer The requirement is to purchase equipment that is compatible with the TA Instruments currently in use by the United States Naval Academy (USNA) Physics Department and Hydro Lab. The HR-2 Discovery Hybrid Rheometer is unique to TA Instruments. Delivery is FOB Destination to the United States Naval Academy, Annapolis MD 21402-5042. The RFQ will be available on or about 6 September 2011 by downloading the documents at http://www.neco.navy.mil. The applicable NAICS Code is 334516. The size standard is no more than 500 employees. The RFQ solicitation and any subsequent amendments will ONLY be available for download at the above site; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting a quote, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred or otherwise ineligible for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov.
