- Notice of Contract Action for a Sole Source Procurement SUBJECT: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT FOR Society of Experimental Test Pilots 2011 Symposium Registration Fees. REQUIREMENT: Registration Fees for Members, Non-Members and Presenters for Society of Experimental Test Pilots 2011 Symposium. This annual symposium educates attendees on current flight test programs with emphasis on promoting future test efficiency and flight safety through the promulgation of lessons learned regarding safety, design and flight testing of aerospace vehicles and their associated systems. DESC: INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT WITH Society of Experimental Test Pilots. The Air Force, Edwards Air Force Base, CA intends to award a Sole Source purchase order to the Society of Experimental Test Pilots, 44814 Elm Ave. Lancaster, CA 93584-0986. The Sole Source purchase will be for 145 Registration Fees. SETP is the only known source for identified for procurement of this service. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 611430 and the size standard is $7,000,000. Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide Society of Experimental Test Pilots 2011 Symposium registration fees matching the above requirements. Responses may be sent via e-mail to Alberto.Safille@edwards.af.mil or mailed to AFFTC/PKEW, 5 South Wolfe Ave, Edwards AFB, CA 93524-1185, Attention: Alberto Safille. Fax Number: 661-277-3746. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Air Force not to open the requirement to open competition, based on response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Air Force. If the office has not received any affirmative written responses by 4:00 p.m. 8 Sept 2011, a Sole Source purchase order will be pursued with Society of Experimental Test Pilots, 44814 Elm Ave., Lancaster, CA 93534-3106.
