Description
This is a SOURCES SOUGHT announcement only. There is no solicitation available at this time. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. The 42nd Contracting Squadron is conducting market research to determine the existence of potential business sources. HQ AU A4/6 requires a vendor to provide 24X7 system support for Hewelett-Packard Unix (HP-UX) Server and related components on site at Air University, Maxwell AFB, AL. Description of Services: Maintain warranty and labor services required for hardware support, software support-labor, and software support-materials for Hewelett-Packard Unix (HP-UX) Server and related components. 1) Hours of Support: The Contractor shall provide unlimited 24 hour, 7days a week, 365 days a year utilizing onsite and/or remote services. Contractor shall provide support within 2 hours of call being logged with vendor. 2) Software: The Contractor shall provide unlimited updates and upgrades to all software associated with the HP-Ux and related equipment. 3) Hardware: The Contractor shall provide 4 hour response onsite for problems that can not be resolved via remote access. 4) Safety and Security: Conform to all safety and security requirements and regulations applicable to contractor activity on the Base. The information in this notice is based on the best and most current information available to date. This information is subject to change and is not binding on the Government. Any updated information will be provided in future announcements and posted electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities homepage at www.fbo.gov, as available. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541511. This industry comprises establishments primarily engaged in conducting computer training (except computer repair), such as computer programming, software packages, computerized business systems, computer electronics technology, computer operations, and local area network management. Instruction may be provided in diverse settings, such as the establishment's or client's training facilities, educational institutions, the workplace, or the home, and through diverse means, such as correspondence, television, the Internet, or other electronic and distance-learning methods. The training provided by these establishments may include the use of simulators and simulation methods. Dependent upon responses to this Sources Sought announcement, it is anticipated that a firm fixed price contract may be solicited. Interested and qualified sources are requested to provide a brief statement of current capability and letter of interest. Interested and qualified sources are requested to provide the following information: 1) Company name, point of contact, e-mail address, telephone and fax numbers, type of business and size, Cage Code and DUNS number; and 2) information telling us about your company and why you think you can perform this service. Respondents are asked to limit submissions to the minimum number of pages necessary to address the requirements specified in this announcement. Any information provided is voluntary.
