Description

The National Cemetery Administration is soliciting offers under Solicitation No. VA-786-11-RP-0281 for the following: Contractor shall provide all labor, and materials necessary to provide: New inscriptions to government furnished blank upright marble headstones (U1/R2), blank flat granite markers (L1) and blank upright granite headstones (W1/R2). All inscription work will be done in a dedicated area away from gravesites within the cemetery property. All granite niche cover (H1) inscriptions will be done in a dedicated area away from the gravesites within the cemetery property for the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL 33513. This contract covers the period from October 1, 2011 through September 30, 2012 with four (4) 1-year options to extend the term of the contract through September 30, 2016 if exercised by the Government. All work shall be performed in accordance with the specifications, drawings, terms and conditions of the contract. This acquisition is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS Code is 327991. Size standard of 500 Employees is applicable. The contractor shall have ten (10) business days, excluding federal holidays, as counted from the date following the day an order is sent to the contractor until the monuments are produced and made available to the cemetery for final inspection. Evaluation criteria for this award will be in the following descending order: 1) Price 2) Technical, 3) Past Performance. Electronic solicitations will be available for download from Federal Business Opportunities http://www.FedBizOpps.gov on or around September 7, 2011. Responses to the solicitation are due by 2:00 p.m., September 23, 2011. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments to the solicitation which is available at FedBizOpps.
