- The Internal Revenue Service Small Business Program Office is hosting a HUBZone VENDOR DAY. The purpose of the event is to bring together HUBZone concerns providing both Information Technology and/or NON-Information Technology supplies/services, to display their marketing capabilities at vendor booths and speak with Contracting Officers and Contract Specialist on how they can help with upcoming acquisitions. WHERE: IRS Procurement National Office, 6009 Oxon Hill Road, Constellation Centre, Oxon Hill, MD 20745 DATE: Wednesday, October 5, 2011 TIME: 9:30am - 1:30pm REGISTRATION INFORMATION: Registration opens at 12:00 noon, Eastern Standard time, Wednesday, September 7, 2011 and closes at 5:00pm, Eastern Standard Time, Wednesday, September 21, 2011. Registrations must be sent to AWSS.SBRO@IRS.GOV. The email must include the phrase HUBZONE VENDOR DAY in the subject line, with the name and address of the company, the company's DUNS number, and the full name of the person(s) planning on attending the event in the body of the email. The small business must be a SBA-Certified HUBZone concern at the time of the event. Any change in HUBZone status must be reported to the IRS Small Business Office immediately. The event is open to all HUBZone concerns, however, registration is on a first come, first served basis and will be accepted in order of the following preference: HUBZone concerns in the 8(a) Business Development Program; HUBZone concerns holding a GSA Schedule; all other HUBZone concerns. Socio-economic status will be confirmed before confirmation of your registration. Security information will be sent with your confirmation email. You are not confirmed for this event until you receive a confirmation email from the IRS Small Business Program Office. DUE TO SPACE LIMITATIONS, THERE ARE ONLY 16 SPACES AVAILABLE FOR THIS EVENT. ONLY 2 PERSONS PER COMPANY WILL BE ALLOWED TO REGISTER. Please ensure that your firm is registered in the Central Contractor Registration database ( www.ccr.gov ) and ensure that your Dynamic Small Business Search profile is updated and complete.
