Description

Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Wall Clocks This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation (VA-248-11-RQ-1122) is being issued as a Request for Quotation. This notice and the incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). The proposed contract action is for supplies, for which the Government intends to solicit as a 100% small business set-aside. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 337127. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr.gov, in order to be considered for award. This procurement is for the purchase, delivery and installation of 200 wall clocks to be located at the Bed Tower addition of the Malcom Randall VA Medical Center, Gainesville, FL. This is a BRAND NAME OR EQUAL procurement. The manufacturer's name, model number and part number in this solicitation have been provided to describe equipment deemed minimally capable of satisfying the Government's requirement. Manufacturer's names, model numbers, and part numbers are provided only to assist potential offerors in understanding the Government's requirement. The Government is not soliciting or suggesting a particular name brand, and will consider offers for any brand that fulfills the Government's need. Quotes for equal items shall include a complete description of quoted item, with any applicable warranty information, product literature and pictures. Contractor shall provide offered part number and manufacturer name in the quote. Evaluation and Basis for Award: Award will be made to the lowest-priced technically acceptable quote. The Government intends to make a single firm-fixed price award to satisfy the requirement. Technical acceptability will be determined by meeting the specifications and delivery requirement. Delivery/Installation: 1. The Government requires delivery and installation within 30 days After Receipt of Order (ARO). The Government prefers items to be shipped F.O.B. Destination.
