Description

This is a source source acquisition. The Air Force requires one (1) OptiDist Automated Atmospheric Distillation Analyzers to test Aviation Turbine Fuel, Automotive Gasoline. The NAICS for this requirement is 334516; the size standard is 500 employees. The requirement has not been set aside for award to a small business, because the government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source only under the authority of FAR 13.106(b)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, any quotation received within (3) three days of this notice shall be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any quotations should be emailed to susan.hashemi@wpafb.af.mil or faxed to Susan Hashemi of 88 CONS/PKB at (937) 904-3637 no later than the close of business on 9 September 2011.
