- A Solicitation Conference/ Industry Day to discuss and initiate strategic feedback on Defense and Veterans Brain Injury Center (DVBIC) Clinical Care, Clinical Research, and Education Program. The Solicitation/Industry Day is open to small business and large business acquisition for Personal and Non-Personal Services to Support HQ and Network Sites. Solicitation/Industry Day will be held on 26 September 2011, from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM Eastern, at: NOAA Science Center (Silver Spring Metro Center) 1305 East-West Highway Silver Spring, MD 20910 Please keep in mind seats are expected to fill quickly and a timelier RSVP is mandatory. Once that information is received attendees will be provided with additional information regarding directions to the complex, parking, check-in, etc. Please direct any questions regarding this registration process to Brandon Budman at (202)-782-1424 or Brandon.J.Budman@US.ARMY.MIL. Industry input is integral to the development and execution of acquisition strategies for the 17 location DVBIC program. Q&A As an add-on to the Solicitation Conference, there is the possibility offerors maybe visiting DVBIC's sites or a representative sampling of DVBIC's sites which will be discussed at the conference. This will be determined later based on responsiveness to this notice. Public parking is available at the driver's own expense; not reimbursable by the government. The information being requested is for planning purposes only and shall not be considered as a commitment by the government for any purpose. Responses are strictly voluntary and the government will not reimburse respondents for any costs associated with the submittal of the requested information. Any information submitted in response to this sources sought/request for information is subject to disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act, 5 USC 552(a). The government does not request any proprietary information be submitted, nor shall it be liable, for any consequential damages for any proprietary information.
