- Description
- The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS), Research Triangle Park NC, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with BioTek, Winooski, VT, 05404, pursuant to 41 U.S.C.253(c)(1)--Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This procurement is for Synergy HT Multi Detection Microplate Reader; The components consist of the following: 1) SIAFR Synergy HT Multi-Detection Microplate Reader - Qty 1 each. 2) TAKE3TRIO Micro-volume plate - Qty 1 each. 3) 7260522 Absorbance test plate - Qty 1 each. 4) 7092092 Fluorescence test plate - Qty 1 each. 5) SVCONFWU Field Warranty Upgrade - Qty 1 each. 6) SVCONFIELD Field Service Contract - Qty 1 each. The Synergy HT Multi Detection Microplate Reader is being purchased as we require a micro-plate reader that can perform wavelength Range: fluorsescence-200-700 nm, time-resolve fluorescence 200-700 nm, luminescence 300-700nm, absorbance 200 nm selectable in 1 nm increments. The micro-plate reader combines a filter-based fluorescence system and a monochromatic-based absorbance system in one compact unit. In addition, the detection system for fluorescence has been optimized to provide high sensitivity in luminescence mode. It is compatible with BioTek's Take3 Multi-volume Plate with sixteen 2 ul microspots for low volume DNA/RNA 260 nm measurements. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability. Respond to this requirement by submitting written capabilities/specifications to the Purchasing Agent at the address stated above.
