- Specifications US Probation's Office Renovations Solicitation & Agreement US Probation's Office Renovations The General Services Administration, Public Building Service is seeking a construction contractor to furnish all labor, tools, materials, equipment, supplies and supervision to provide renovations to the U.S. Probation Office. The work included in the attached solicitation documents will be performed at the U.S. Post Office/U.S. Courthouse, 600 Capitol Avenue, Little Rock, AR. The work of the project is defined by the contract documents and consists of the following: the renovation/alteration of the second floor of the Old Post Office Building into new office areas. Work to include general demolition of existing walls, doors, interior windows, miscellaneous interior finishes; lay-in ceilings, electrical and HVAC. Installation of new partition walls, ceilings, floor finishes, electrical, data and HVAC work. Competition for this procurement is restricted to Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). The estimated cost range for all work is between $1,000,000 to 2,000,000. The firm must be a General Construction firm approved under NAICS: 236220, size standard: $33.5 million. The offeror shall obtain any and all necessary licenses or permits required to perform this work in the State of Arkansas. The project will require work to be performed within an occupied Federal Courthouse while minimizing disruptions to the operations of the existing facility. Prospective contractors must be registered at http://www.ccr.gov and https://orca.bpn.gov to be eligible for award. There will be one pre-proposal/site visit which will be held on September 21, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the Little Rock Federal Building, 700 West Capitol Ave, Little Rock, AR 722001. All interested parties are encouraged to attend. Prospective contractors will be responsible for downloading the solicitation, support documents from FedBizOpps website www.fbo.gov and monitoring the website for amendments, if any, to the solicitation. This is a SERVICE-DISABLE VETERAN OWNED BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The procurement is subject to availability of funds.
