Description
STATEMENT OF WORK / STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE This acquisition covers equipment replacement, layout, furnishing, installation, and insulation of duct work and piping of dryers within an existing textile care processing facility. Any changes to the building, to accommodate performance of the system will be the responsibility of the successful offeror. The successful offeror will be responsible for the removal of all trade-in equipment from the textile care processing facility and the placement of saved existing equipment within the new floor plan of the facility. The Contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, equipment, tools, safety, hoisting and supplies necessary to meet the terms and conditions of this contract in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW). This SOW includes removal of trade-in equipment, delivery, installation and training of new laundry equipment at the VA Medical Center, Minneapolis, MN in conformance with the specifications provided. All items provided by the contractor shall be new. Upon completion of installation, Textile Care Quality Assurance Specialists, from VA Asset Management Service, will inspect the installation, equipment and production testing of the newly installed equipment. Equipment and materials shall be suitable for installation in available space, arranged for safe and convenient operation and maintenance and, if applicable with referenced specifications to include a summary of routine preventative maintenance for each piece of equipment. The contractor shall include lockout and tag-out requirements for all industrial equipment offered.
