- THIS IS A SOLICATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this solicitation. This announcement constitutes the only publication. A written solicitation will not be issued. All responsible sources may submit a response which, if timely received must be considered by the agency. The solicitation number M67001-11-Q-0306 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-44 and DCN 20100413. This solicitation is set aside 100% for small business. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 334514 Note: The Flow Meters that listed are required to be calibrated on an annual basis according to the state of North Carolina. The calibration of the meters is a verification of the electronics of each meter. A normal flow calibration includes but is not limited to five different flows, with five averages of the meter reading and the standard flow made at each set point, with this entire test sequence repeated on a second day to assess reproducibility. Waste Water specifies the flow set points and the instrumentation requirements of the meter (pressure, temperature, full scales required, ect.). The annual calibration of the meters help the Waste Water Plant provide the necessary data that is taken each month to the state of North Carolina. The meter readings are to show how much waste water is flowing through the plant on a monthly basis. The Marine Corps Installations East Contracting Department, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina 28547 has a requirement to provide the Government the following services: Calibration /Proper Operation Checks for various flow meters for a period of twelve months. Contractor must also provide a quote for an additional four (4) twelve (12) month option periods.
