- NASA/GSFC has a requirement for 1 ea. X-ray CCD Camera system model #7383-0002SX-LN/CCD-1340/1300-EB.NASA/GSFC intends to purchase the items from Princeton Instruments pursuant to FAR13.106, for the acquisition of supplies or services determined to be reasonably availablefrom only one source. Replacement system is required to maintain continuity of testresults over the many years of development and flight production of x-ray mirrorassemblies.The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform theeffort in writing to the identified point of contact no later than 2:30PM EST on datelisted above. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purposeof determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Adetermination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and opencompetition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretionof the government.Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable.
