- Complete specifications for Program 1728S One-year, single-award term contract with four option years for the production of a saddle-stitched, self-cover newsletter that requires the contractor to create the page layout pattern to include placing of photos and text on the pages and making font selection (using samples from previous printings as a general guide) and all additional operations necessary to create composite pages. In addition, the contractor must provide proofs, four-color process printing, binding, labeling, packing, mailing and delivery. Approximately 4 orders per year (quarterly) plus a fiscal year annual report once a year. Approximately 1,000 to 2,000 newsletters per order with an average of 1,200 newsletters per order. Approximately 8 to 40 pages with an average of 32 pages per order. Trim size: 8-1/2 x 11". Material furnished: Microsoft Word files, hard copy photos, digital photos (jpg, tif, etc). Digital material provided on 100MB or 250MB zip disks. Proofs required. Newsletter prints head to head in four color process, bleed edges scattered throughout. Paper: White No. 1 Coated Text, Gloss Finish, 70 lb, equal to JCP Code A181. Majority of each order mails as self-mailers via presorted Standard Mail.
