Description

The Great Lakes Acquisition Center, on behalf of the Green Bay Vet Center, will be seeking proposals for Veteran Outreach Services. This new program will target rural and minority combat veteran populations and will have an emphasis on those who are members of, or have an affiliation, with the Native American population in the state of Wisconsin. The primary objective of this program is to assist combat Veterans overcome obstacles to obtaining care through providing veteran peer services that are culturally competent. Contractor will provide all facilities, labor, materials, and equipment necessary to provide outreach and referral services for the eligible Target Veteran Population. Specific Tasks include post award implementation and outreach services. The period of performance shall be from the date of award (estimated November 1, 2011) through September 30, 2012 with two (2) additional one-year option periods that may be exercised at the discretion of the Government. This procurement will be unrestricted. As such, the government anticipates releasing this solicitation for proposals by September 16, 2011. All offerors who believe they can provide the required services will be encouraged to submit a response. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 541990 and the size standard for small businesses is $7.0 million.
