- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: Letterkenny Army Depot (LEAD) has a requirement for the purchase of 35 each TACMET sensors. The Government intends to issue sole source award to Climatronics Corporation. The statutory authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competitition for this action is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as cited in FAR 6.302-1, when there is a supply or service available only from one or a limited number of responsible sources, and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy the agency's needs. This requirement will be negotiated on a sole source basis with Climatronics Corporation, 140 Wilbur Place, Bohemia, NY 11716-2404, Cage Code 52332. The FOB point is Letterkenny Army Depot (Destination). Solicitation number W911N2-11-R-0052 will be released O/A 16 September 2011, closing date O/A 30 September 2011. The annotated closing date for this solicitation is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the release of the solicitation. The solicitation will not close prior to the annotated date. All interested sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by this agency.
