Description

Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre, Pa 18711 The items called for by this RFI have been identified by a brand name: ENSITE VELOCITY SYSTEM, MODEL EE3000-V, such identification is intended to be descriptive, but not restrictive, and is to indicate the quality and characteristics of product that will be satisfactory. Equal products (including products of the brand name manufacturer other than the one described by brand name) will be considered for award if such products are clearly identified in the offer and are determined by the Government to meet fully the salient characteristics requirements listed in the RFI: FAR 52.211-6 -- Brand Name or Equal Brand name, ENSITE VELOCITY SYSTEM Make or model number; MODEL# EE3000-V Mapping system and these are the salient characteristics: Geometry and timing mapping at the same time Cardiologists want to be able to use different types of catheters Cardiologist wants to be able to map from all areas of the heart and map any arrhythmia Must be compatible to GE and Bard equipment Any manufacturer that determines it can meet the requirements may give written notice via e-mail to Joann.Chukinas@va.gov by 4:30PM EST on Thursday, September 15, 2011.
