Description

This is a pre-solicitation notice of the government's intent to solicit quotes from regularly established businesses that specialize in landscaping services. The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Birmingham, AL, VISN7, requires a contractor to furnish all labor, materials, tools, and equipment needed to perform various landscaping services. The period of performance will be September 30, 2011 through September 29, 2012 plus four option years for renewal. This procurement is set aside 100% for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. The NAICS code for this procurement is 561730 with a small business standard size of $7.0 million. The solicitation, VA-247-11-RP-0481, will be issued on or about September 15, 2011, and will be available for download from this website. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will be available on the www.fbo.gov website. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments.
