- Description
- The Joint Strike Fighter Program Office (JPO) intends to issue a sole source fixed price & cost reimbursement contract to Lockheed Martin Cooperation, Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company, P.O. Box 748, Fort Worth, TX 76101. Lockheed Martin will provide a reprogramming capability (the ability to create, modify, validate, and verify Mission Data Files (MDFs)) for the F-35 Lightning II to be delivered to the Partner Reprogramming Laboratory (PRL) at Eglin AFB. This must be an integrated solution (hardware, software, and training) and will be functionally equivalent to the US reprogramming capability in the US Reprogramming Laboratory (USRL) in order to make use of cooperative training, support and maintenance solutions and to ensure that future enhancements and improvements to either Reprogramming Laboratory (RL) are not mutually exclusive. Lockheed Martin is the only responsible source capable of supporting this requirement. Any interested responsible source shall submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency.
