Description

This synopsis serves as a notice of the Government's intent to award, through Simplified Acquisition Procedures, a firm fixed-price contract on the basis of sole source for maintenance and support services for the period of 1 year on CBIRF's pre-existing emergency notification system. The following details are provided: Name of Contractor: GovCentric LLC Address of Contractor: 35 Oakland Street Newburyport, MA 01950 Estimated Dollar Value: $68,303.00 Description of Service: Maintenance and support for CBIRF's pre-exisiting "The Communicator!" NXT Emergency Notification System. Support services include, but are not limited to, off-site hybrid application hosting, technical support, and troubleshooting. This Notice of Intent is not a request for proposals or quotations. No solicitation document exists and no telephone inquiries will be accepted. No contract award will be made on the basis of EOIs, proposals, or quotations received in response to this notice. Interested sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement, and should furnish detailed data concerning their capabilities to provide the services sought including pricing and technical information sufficient enough to determine that a comparable source to the Government is available. The Government will be the sole determiner regarding an offeror ™s ability to meet all requirements. The Government will consider all responses received prior to 10 days after date of publication of this synopsis, and before 1200 EST on that date. A determination by the Government not to solicit proposals based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses may be submitted by email or sent via the U.S. Postal Service; if sent via standard mail, they must be addressed to: CBIRF Contracting Office Attn: SSgt Chatfield 3399 Strauss Ave STE 219 Indian Head, MD 20640 Responses may also be submitted by facsimile to 301-744-2018. Submitters bear the burden of ensuring that the response reaches the designated contracting officer on time and should allow a reasonable time for facsimile transmissions to be completed. All pages of the transmission must reach the office before the deadline specified and pages of a facsimile transmission that arrive in the office after the specified deadline will not be considered. The submitter bears the risk of non-receipt of facsimile transmissions and should confirm by telephone that any facsimile was received. This procurement will be conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The anticipated award date is 24 September 2011.
