- SOLICITATION NOTICE VA-69D-11-RQ-0335 MEDICAL CODING SERVICES The GLAC (Great Lakes Acquisition Center) is soliciting proposals for Medical Coding Services on an on-demand, as needed basis for the Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital, Jesse Brown VAMC, Clement J. Zablocki VAMC, Oscar G. Johnson VAMC and William S. Middleton VAMC from October 1, 2011 or Date of Award thru September 30, 2012 with up to two one-year options to extend. All qualified offerors/firms who believe they can satisfy the solicitation requirements are invited and encouraged to provide their proposal. Offers shall be evaluated for fair and reasonable pricing, technical competency/capability to perform services and satisfactory past performance record. The purpose of this contract is to obtain coding services for the purpose of assigning International Classification of Diseases (ICD), Current Procedural Terminology (CPT), and Health Care Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS) codes based on the medical record documentation of care provided at or under the auspices of a VISN 12 Veterans Health Administration (VHA) facility. The contractor shall provide all resources necessary to accomplish the deliverables. This procurement is a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-aside under Naics Code 561110 with a size standard of $7 Million. The Solicitation will be available at fbo.gov and posted under the same link as the Solicitation Notice. All amendments will be posted on fbo.gov and it is the responsibility of the contractor to monitor for amendments. The Solicitation is anticipated to be released on or about September 16, 2011 with an anticipated proposal due date of September 30, 2011 (Dates subject to change).
