- This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 5.101. This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source contract and is not a request for competitive proposals. Authority for this sole-source procurement is 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1) and FAR 6.302-1 using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR 13. The Army Contracting Command National Capital Region (ACC-NCR) intends to issue a sole-source, Firm-Fixed-Price Contract. This contract is intended to be issued to Advance Media Technologies for 500 Motorola DCX700/A080/013MPG 2/4 64MB 512MB RAM cable top boxes and 400 IR Tethers compatible with the DCX set top boxes. All items are to be delivered within 30 days of award. The cable top boxes are required to support the United States Army Information Technology Agency (USA ITA) within the Pentagon and select buildings within the National Capital Region (NCR). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government shall consider all responses received by Wednesday 21 September 2011 at 4:00 p.m. EST. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Written responses to this synopsis shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill the requirement. ACC-NCR will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice. Responses received after this will be considered late IAW FAR 52.212-1(f) and will not be considered.
