Description
Fargo, ND VA Health Care System is seeking potential firms that have the performance capability for Project 437-11-134, Minot VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic Environmental Enhancements for Female Veterans. Contract completion date is 120 days after notice to proceed. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) contractors. The estimated dollar value is between $25,000 and $100,000. NAICS code is 236220 with a size standard of $33.5 million. A 20% bid bond will be required at submission of bids. Performance and Payment bonds will be required within 10 days of contract award. To be eligible for award, SDVOSB must be considered small under the relevant NAICS code and must be registered and verified in the following sites: www.vetbiz.gov, www.orca bpn.gov and www.ccr.gov. Provide all material, labor, equipment, etc necessary to provide and install environmental enhancements at the Minot AFB, ND VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic by removing 6 exam room doors, frames and hardware, along with the electrical switches so that the door swing may be reversed to provide additional privacy to female patients who are being treated. New frames, doors, hardware and electrical switching (in the proper location at the new latch side of the door) will be installed and finishes shall be patched to match existing. 6 patient rooms will have chart holders installed to provide patient privacy and keep records confidential. This will allow for the clinic exam room doors to be locked for privacy when a female patient is being seen, in accordance with the contract drawings and specifications. All work shall be in compliance with all applicable NFPA, NEC, Life Safety Code, UFAS, OSHA and other pertinent code requirements. This solicitation is anticipated to be available on www.fbo.gov on or about June 7, 2011. Requests for solicitation documents made by telephone, fax, or e-mail will be honored.
