- Only the following verbage was added for this modification: Each Government provided Hawkeye II terminal shall have CIR (see below) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation is W912NR-11-R-0025. The solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-49, DFARS Change Notice 20110202. This solicitation is 100 % set aside for Total Small Business. The NAICS code assigned to this acquisition is 517110 and small business size standard is 1,500 employees. Award will be made as a firm fixed price contract. The purpose of this project is to have satellite service for six 1.2 meter Hawkeye II satellite terminals with idirect iconnex modems. Interested vendors shall quote lump sum price for work; CLIN 1: This CLIN shall be the monthly price for a twelve month period. The requirements for each terminal are as follows: Bandwidth: 2.0 M x 1.5 M Each Government provided Hawkeye II terminal shall have CIR: 128K x 128K Service billed "per day" and not by data usage 5 usage days included per month with 1 additional day per month for testing Include "price per day" for any days outside of 6 provided in plan 14 VOIP phone service with local 225 area code and nationwide calling plan 24 hour phone support for terminals Service provider should be able to host our Encore VPN device Ability to monitor bandwidth usage per terminal through a web interface Ability to increase bandwidth on any terminal within 24 hours Period of performance shall be 01 September 2011 - 31 August 2012 and will require satellite service throughout the state of Louisiana. This is a multiyear contract with one base year contract and up to four option years. The following provisions and/or clauses apply to this acquisition. Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Items (Jan 1999): (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Award will be made based on past performance and price. The contractor shall submit three references for past performance of related work with the quote.
