- NASA/GSFC has a requirement for an X-Ray Analyzer system. This system is acombination of detectors; very low power self-contained HV supply; small commercialvacuum system; with LN Dewar; and data collector/analyzer.Salient Specifications: Window thickness and noise width: resolve 3KeV at.5KeV FWHM at 90% efficiency.Area and Volume: relative to NaI, counting efficiency at 1.33MeV better than 25%MODEL # QUANTITYLX-70450-30, Photon spectrometer1CFG-LP-SH-83, Cryostat1DWR-30, 30-liter Dewar. 1DSPEC-501A66-B32, HPGe Spectral Analysis 1This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared inaccordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additionalinformation included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the onlysolicitation, which is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ); quotes are beingrequested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and the SimplifiedAcquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13.The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC 2005-36. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. The NAICS Code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 334419respectively. The offeror shall state in their offer their size status for thisprocurement All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. Delivery to NASA's GSFC, Greenbelt, MD 20771 is required within 30 days ARO. Deliveryshall be FOB Destination. Offers for the items(s) described above are due by response by September 26, 2011 @ 12pmvia email to stephanie.d.stephens@nasa.gov and must include, solicitation number, FOBdestination to this Center, proposed delivery schedule, discount/payment terms, warrantyduration (if applicable), taxpayer identification number (TIN), identification of anyspecial commercial terms, and be signed by an authorized company representative.
