Description
The Electronic Warfare/Avionics Division at Robin AFB, Georgia has an engineering services requirement to provide software configuration control management in support of the AN/ALE-47 Countermeasures Dispenser System (CMDS). The successful offeror will be performing AN/ALE-47 software configuration management tasks to include software, technical, logistical, data analysis, and obsolescence support. The contractor shall review software products from both contract and organic sources. An independent review of software products is required for proper checks and balances of quality to maintain program integrity. Specified support services will be primarily accomplished at Robins AFB Georgia. The resultant contract will include a basic twelve month period of performance with two (2) option years. FAR Part 15 procedures will be utilized. Offerors shall prepare their proposals in accordance with the detailed instructions contained in the RFP. The Government will utilize the Performance Price Tradeoff acquisition methodology and will evaluate proposals and make award in accordance with the Evaluation Basis for Award Provision in the RFP. It is anticipated that the RFP will be released on or around 31 May 2011. The RFP, and applicable attachments, to include the PWS will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities website (http://www.fbo.gov). No hard copies will be provided. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. Foreign contractor participation is prohibited at the prime contractor level.
