- Under the Authority of Federal Acquisitions Regulation, Part 6, Subparts 6.301 and 6.302, The U.S. Census Bureau, intends to contract with Achieva Partners Inc., on a sole source basis to provide expert data product assistance for the existing American Community Survey Office's data dissemination. The ACSO disseminates data and information through a variety of means, including American Factfinder, Data Farrett, and the ACSO web site. It is critical to have available to the ACSO people who have a deep knowledge of Census custom tabulations and data products. In order to stay on schedule, and meet mission-critical deadlines for custom tabulations, the division requires assistance for an expert who can perform the work. The period of performance for this service consists of September 29, 2011 through September 30, 2012. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. In doing so, interested sources must submit technical capabilities, pricing, and other information that demonstrates their ability to meet the Census Bureau's needs. Detailed capabilities must be submitted to victor.l.thomas@census.gov, by 4pm on Friday, September 29, 2011. This notice is not to be considered a request for quotations or proposals. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice, but offers will be used to determine if a comparable source is available and more advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received within 15 days from the publication of this synopsis, a contract may be issued to Achieva Partners Inc., without further notice.
