- Notice to Quoters This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on FEDBIZOPPS (https://www.fbo.gov/) only. The RFQ number is RFQP04131100025. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-53. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses: www.acqnet.gov/far. The NAICS code is 424470 and the Small Business Standard size in number of employees is 100. This is a competitive, restricted action. Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correction Institution in Sandstone, Minnesota, Contracting Office requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing: 22,000 lbs of 4 - 5 ounce breaded chicken patties, raw, whole muscle breast meat, individually quick frozen. 20,000 lbs of 6 - 8 ounce (net weight) natural skinless pollock fillets, raw, individually quick frozen. Delivery is 30 DAYS; Delivery Location is Midway Cold Storage, 2231 Territorial Road, St. Paul, MN, 55114. Deliveries will be accepted between the hours of 8:00 AM and 1:30 PM. Deliveries will not be accepted on Saturdays, Sundays, or Federal Holidays. Responsibility and Inspection: unless otherwise specified in the order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements and quality control. All quotes shall include price(s) FOB Destination, a point of contact, name, email, fax, and phone number, business size, country product of origin, place of manufacture, delivery time, payment terms, if registered in CCR and/or if quoter accepts payment by Government Purchase Card. Quoter's shall include a completed copy of 52.212-3 and its ALT I with quotes unless vendor is registered in ORCA. If registered, please so state on quote and affirm representations and certifications are up to date. Quoter's should also consider the information provided in the Notice to Quoters which is attached to the solicitation. Each response must clearly indicate the capability of the quoter to meet all specifications and requirements. When submitting a quote it is very important that all offerors understand it is their responsibility to ensure they meet all requirements of the RFQ, not just those requirements stated in the specification such as terms and conditions, representations and certifications. The quote should not simply rephrase or restate the Governments requirements, but rather shall provide substantiation as to how the offeror intends to meet the requirements.
