Description
Work for this project consists of furnishing labor and equipment for the reconstruction of the Medicine Lodge Lake Campground and Lower Paintrock Lakes Campground. Items of work included (but not limited to) are:. Mobilization; Construction signing and barricades; Quality control; Temporary erosion and sediment control; Clearing and grubbing; Demolition of all campsite furnishings, signs, culverts and barriers; Developing two borrow pit areas for rock, fill and aggregate sources including restoration; Placing and constructing aggregate roads and spurs including excavation, embankment and ditches; Constructing campsite units with pit run aggregate surfacing including new site furnishings, timber stairs, rock retaining walls or timber walls, concrete wheelstops for parking areas and unit number posts; Trails with hardened pit run aggregate surfacing; Replacing/adding culverts and drainage ditches; Fee station with bulletin boards and relocated fee tubes; Host unit with a black water holding tank; Relocating existing barrier rocks and installing new additional barrier rocks, Construct an ADA Horse Loading Ramp and double metal road closure gate, New entrance signs or relocation and directional/recreation sign installation; Scarification and reclamation with topsoil/seeding and Coordinate government furnished materials, deliveries and contractor loading, hauling assembly, and installation including: tables, table covers, fire rings, utility tables, lantern posts, number post plates and entrance sign panels, plaques and shields. Project Optional Bid items of Work include (but not limited to) are: Reconstruction of the Medicine Lodge Lake Boat Launch and Day Use Area, Lower Paintrock Lakes Trailhead and Parking Area, Upper Paintrock Lake Fisherman Parking, Edelman Trailhead, Lower Paintrock Lakes Trailhead - Hardened Trail to Wilderness and Lower Paintrock Lakes Campground - Timber Retaining Walls (if Rock Retaining Wall material is not available). Work includes: Construction staking, Clearing and grubbing; Placing and constructing aggregate roads and parking areas including excavation, embankment and ditches; Geo-textile underlayer for boat launch area; Constructing hardened trails with pit run aggregate surfacing, concrete wheelstops for parking areas; new entrance signs or replaced panels, small bulletin boards and an ADA Horse loading Ramp. Installing additional barrier rocks furnished and installed by the contractor; Scarification and reclamation with topsoil/seeding and Coordinate government furnished materials, deliveries and contractor loading, hauling, assembly and installation including: entrance sign panels, plaques and shields.
