- Intent to Sole Source Contract Award This notice is for informational purposes only. The Great Lakes Acquisition Center intends to award a sole source contract for totalcare treatment package for 1900(s) beds and Advanta beds. for the William S Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital, 2500 Overlook Terrace Madison, WI 53705 under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1), 6.302-1 to Hill-Rom Company Inc, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy. Technical Scope: The Contractor is responsible for all supplies and services required to provide to furnish the necessary Service includes, but is not limited to, certified Hill-Rom service representatives to provide onsite repairs during regular business hours, genuine factory parts included, two (2) preventive maintenance visits per year, and JCAHO audit documentation. Period of Performance: October 1, 2011 - September 30, 2014 with 2 option years This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitations documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored. However, if a firm believes it can meet the requirements it must furnish information about its products and services, as well as references from other customers who are using these products and service, to the Contracting Officer within five (5) calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Information must be sent to the Trong Nguyen, VAMC GLAC, 115 S 84th Street, Suite 101, Milwaukee WI 53214 or via fax to (414) 844-4891. Responses received will be evaluated however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the GLAC will proceed with the sole source negotiation
