Description
This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial service prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested. A written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as RFQ # E11PS55234The U.S. Department of the Interior, San Juan National Park, San Juan, Puerto Rico, has a requirement for the purchase of AV equipment for visitor use to San Juan National Historic Site.The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract in accordance with FAR Part 12.6, Acquisition of Commercial Services. MUST BE REGISTERED IN CCR.gov NO FORMAL SOLICITATION to follow. Audiovisual and Lighting Control Systems Scope of Work Under this procurement, the contractor, as an independent organization and not as an agent of the Government, shall furnish, install and integrate the video/audio equipment solution and light control system solution, all of the necessary material and labor for the removal and replacement of this equipment in Building 213 Castillo San Cristobal, US Department of Interior, National Park Service, San Juan National Historic Site, San Juan Puerto Rico. This work includes:Removal of existing system, integration, installation and programming of the Smart Video / Audio and lighting control system solution in the visitor center auditorium of Castillo San Cristobal building 213 that accommodates 75 seats. Vendor shall dispose of electronic equipment and recycling of materials. Supply of cables and cable runs, delivery, adapters, rack blank plates, wall plate and compact control and other material related with the installation of this system. Vendor must meet ADR requirement and able to provide 24/7 local warranty, maintenance and troubleshooting service. Vendor should consider solutions were equipment is currently being serviced in Puerto Rico to assure minimum down time to the NPS, San Juan NHS. The park auditorium currently shows a video presentation that is offered every 15 minutes, allowing visitor to come in and out of the room. Video runs for 11 minutes and 4 minutes to allow visitors to exit and allow other visitors to come in. During these 4 minutes light control solution should be automatically turned on for safety and security purposes. San Juan National Historic Site opens to the public every day of the year from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. It's closed to the public during Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Year Day. The park is interested in acquiring an automated, reliable, user friendly solution that will integrate Video, Audio and Light control system. List of equipment should include: "Professional series / High Definition Projector with its ceiling mount (for continued playback)"Ceiling mounted electronic Projector Screen 4,000+ lumens (100+ Diagonal)"Professional Programmable Blu-Ray/DVD/CD Player (for continued playback)"Programmable Video / Audio control System"Speakers"Surround Sound System"Programmable Light Control System The contractor shall begin work immediately upon effective date of the purchase order through the purchase order end date. Period of performance 60 calendars days after obtain necessary requirements in accordance with FAR, Subpart 12.6. and FAR Part 13.5 Evaluation Criteria: This purchase order will be awarded to the offeror whose proposal is considered the most advantageous to the Government and other factors considered. The Government will not make an award at a significantly higher overall cost to the Government to achieve only slightly superior performance.Contract will be awared in accordance with FAR Part 13.500 WARA NTY:All work must include the following services:Workman Compensation Insurance General Public InsuranceMan powerEquipment Hand toolsPersonal Protection Equipment (PPE) Vendor must include warranty, service and maintenance during the first year Point of Contact: All questions will be sent via email.
