- The attachment includes the redacted sole source justification for this purchase. TO PROCURE a Blanket Purchase Agreement for DNA probes and primers to be used as reagents for an FDA approved assay for the USAF/PHE Epidemiology Lab. These FDA approved reagents will be used for molecular testing of viral pathogens to include influenza and H1N1. NAICS Code 325413, SIC Code 2835, and Size Standard 500 Employees. This is a Sole Source procurement, synopsis published for informational purposes only. Solicitation documents are not available. This proposed contract action is for procurement of an item for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1. The proposed source is Biosearch Technologies, Inc., 81 Digital Drive, Novato, CA 94949. The notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations received within two (2) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
