- NASA/DFRC has a requirement for Qty 2 Uninterruptible power supplies and qty 4battery modules.The specifications are:60Hz 115VAC UPS (Qty 2)3-phase wye 400Hz 115VAC InputSingle phase 60Hz 115VAC OutputBattery backup of 8 minutes fully loaded<3% Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) fully loaded linear, <5% THD fullyloaded non-linear>0.94PF Power FactorOverload of 120% for 30 seconds4U 19 Rackmount compatible with front panel mounting holes<100 pounds5KVA load capabilityRS232 communications port for fault communicationOperating temperature is required to be 0F to +160F. If the operatingtemperature range could not be met, NASA can evaluate the proposed temperature range fora possible waiver.Operating altitude is required to be 0 to 20,000 feet, if this could not be met,NASA will evaluate the proposed operating altitude for a possible waiver.Storage altitude is required to be at least 50,000 feet, if this could not bemet, NASA will evaluate the proposed storage altitude for a possible waiver. This announcement constitutes the onlysolicitation, which is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ); quotes are beingrequested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Offerors are required to usethe On-Line RFQ system to submit their quote. The On-line RFQ system is linked above orit may be accessed at http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=C&pin=. Theinformation required by FAR Subpart 12.6 is included in the on-line RFQ.The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and the SimplifiedAcquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13.Questions regarding this acquisition must be submitted in writing (e-mail is preferred)no later than 09/19/2011. Quotes/proposals are due no later than 4:30 pm local time on09/24/2011. It is the quoter's responsibility to monitor this site for the release ofamendments (if any).
