- Description
- The Mission Contracting Office (MCO) Fort Bragg, North Carolina, has a requirement in support of the Directorate of Public Works (DPW), Fort Bragg, North Carolina, for delivery of liquefied propane (LP) gas at various locations at Fort Bragg, Simmons Army Airfield and Camp Mackall, North Carolina. The DPW's mission is to provide, manage, maintain, and sustain facilities, infrastructure, and land through integrated planning. LP Gas is utilized by DPW and its customers in those facilities where natural gas is not readily accessible. These facilities include but are not limited to certain cooking and water heating, remote and temporary structures facilities. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and any other items and services necessary to perform the automatic fill-up for LP Gas and provide incidental maintenance and repair of Government-owned tanks at Fort Bragg, Simmons Army Airfield and Camp Mackall, North Carolina as outlined in the Requirement Description (Attachment 1). The anticipated period of performance for this requirement will consist of a basic ordering period of twelve (12) months (1 October 2011 through 30 September 2012) with four 12-month option ordering periods. The Government intends to award a Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Requirements type contract for this requirement. This acquisition will be solicited as a total Small Business set-aside, under National American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 454312, "Liquefied Petroleum Gas (Bottled Gas) Dealers" with a small business size standard of 50 employees. MCO - Fort Bragg anticipates issuing Request for Proposal (RFP) W91247-11-R-0037 on or about 14 September 2011. The closing date for submission of proposals will be 20 September 2011. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the RFP package and any amendments. The RFP will also be available at the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website: https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. No paper copies of the RFP will be mailed and telephone requests will not be honored. All offerors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a government contract, http://www.ccr.gov. Failure to register in CCR will make an offeror ineligible for award. Questions in regard to the RFP must be submitted via electronic mail to Ms. Stacey Bell at stacey.bell@us.army.mil. All submissions should be clearly marked Question(s) for Fort Bragg LP Gas W91247-11-R-0037. All RFP questions must be submitted no later than 12:00 p.m., 16 September 2011 to allow a reasonable time for the Government to respond.
