- The TRICARE Management Activity (TMA) Acquisition Management & Support Directorate (AM&S) is proud to host an Industry Day event on Monday, October 17, 2011. It will be held at the Hilton Hotel, 6550 Loisdale Road, Springfield, VA 22150. Details concerning registration for this event and the conference agenda ar available at the following website: hht://www.tricare.mil. The purpose of Industry Day is to increase contractor awareness of TMA's mission, as well as future acquisition forecasts that may generate increased contractor interest and participation in upcoming opportunities. The event is open to all contractors, including those that have performed or, are performing work with TMA and new contractors that are interested in doing business with TMA. All interested companies are encouraged to attend. Key Presenters from various TMA organizations include: Upcoming Opportunities; TMA Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP); Force Health Protection & Readiness (FHP&R); Operations & Support Directorate (OCIO); AM&S, Contract Operations Division - Aurora (COD-A); MHS Electronic Health Records Center; Defense Health Services Systems (DHSS); MHS Cyber-Infrastructure Services (MCIS); and Defense Health Information Management System (DHIMS). Industry Day will be held from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM in the St. Croix Ballroom, Hilton Hotel, 6550 Loisdale Road, Springfield, VA 22150, (703) 971-8900. Doors will open at 7:30 AM, with welcoming comments from the TMA Deputy Director at 8:00 AM. Due to space limitation, only two representatives from each company are allowed to register for the event. Registration will be discontinued after the maximum limit of participation has been reached, and no walk-in registration will be permitted.
