- The VA Medical Center, Bay Pines intends to negotiate a sole source, firm fixed price contract with Brain Vision LLC, to provide Brain Amp ExG MR 8 ch bipolar amplifier extension system Brain Amp extension box for use with existing Brain Amp amplifiers. BUA64 complete USB2Adapter Box-64 channels complete with USB cable. Brain Vision Recorder Professional fully featured EEG recording software. First license, single USB hard lock key. Pair of EMG cup electrodes for FMRO-15 kOhm-Variable Lange standard length The Brain Vision EMG system is the only EMG system that is compatible with existing custom software that has been developed by the Daly research team and is currently in use to reduce and analyze electromyographical (EMG) data acquired in the magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) environment. According to Brain Vision they are the only firm capable of providing the supplies and services.NAICS code is 339113 and the size standard is 500 employees. This procurement is being conducted under statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements". To the best of our knowledge, Brain Vision is the only company who can provide these services. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals; however any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give Email notification to the Contraction Officer by 2:00 pm, EST, 09/20/2011. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. Electronic responses will be accepted. Responses received will be evaluated; however a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
