Description

The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Teton Data Systems, PO Box 3082, Jackson, WY 83001, to purchase an online service for an Electronic Medical Library for 10 concurrent users for all books of the STAT!Ref Library and 5 concurrent users for the AORN title. Features that are essential to the Government's needs, which no other company provides in a similar System: STAT!Ref uses a proprietary search and retrieval technology, Teton Server, not found in any other medical library software. The software uses proprietary SmartMatch alogorithm to display ranked results, which is only available in STAT!Ref products.. This Notice of Intent to Sole Source, is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Parties may identify their interest; accompanied by supporting literature, to the Contracting Officer no later than September 14, 2011 COB. Responses should be sent to ronald.kline@va.gov or faxed to Ronald Kline at (412) 822-3782. No telephone responses will be accepted. Information received will be for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. The determination to conduct a competitive procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer.
