- U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agriculture Research Service intends to procure electronic access via the internet for all USDA users to the Biosis Previews database with perpetual data rights to the content on a sole source basis from the vendor: Thomson Reuters Scientific, Inc. The contents of the database are unique and not available from any other distributor or publisher. Thomas Reuters Scientific, Inc. holds the copyrights to the contents. No other source may deliver the contents without a direct license from the publisher, and Thomason Reuters has not licensed the database to other providers. Anticipated Award date is September 22, 2011.
