- This is not a request for quote; this is a notice of the government's intent to award a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis to Complete Parachute Solutions pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, only one source is capable of responding to satisfy the agency's requirements. The US Special Operations Command (SOCOM) intends to purchase Military Altimaster Test Chambers (CPS-TC-10) and Military Altimaster Altimeters (CPS-MA-10), life support items in support of personnel airdrop. This decision was based on proprietary rights for both the CPS-TC-10 and CPS-MA-10. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotations, however interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement by 8:00 AM 21 September 2011, EST by e-mail to shelly.pollock@socom.mil. A determination by the Government not to compete the contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
