Description
The Government intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price contract, utilizing procedures under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, for uniform rental and associated maintenance/replacements/deliveries for NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic in Portsmouth, VA. The resulting contract will be for a one-year base period with four one-year option periods, and will include FAR Clause 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services . This requirement will be issued as 100 % total small business set-aside, with options to extend the term of the contract in accordance with FAR Clause 52.217-9. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 812332 and the size standard is $35.5. A complete Request for Proposal (RFP) package is anticipated to be available around 14 September 2011. Once available, the RFP package can be downloaded from the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) website as follows: https://www.neco.navy.mil or accessed through https://www.fbo.gov. A site visit will be held in Norfolk, VA with the date and exact location to be specified in the RFP. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above sites; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. The contracting officer reserves the right to conduct verbal or written discussions with respect to other than price with the offerors at anytime prior to award. The prospective awardee must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the U.S. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling-1-888-227-2423 or via the internet at http://www.ccr.gov.
