- Amendment 2 SB1341-11-RQ-0763 The purpose of this amendment is to provide responses to questions received from potential Offerors. The questions received and their corresponding responses are detailed below: Question 1: In the attached document it says the contractors must be an Area Director for the TSV Area within the IESG. Does this mean it is a requirement that the contract is already an Area Director or does that mean that NIST has arranged for the contractor to become an Area Director. Response 1: As stated in the solicitation, one of the contractor's proposed key personnel must hold the position of the TSV Area Director. NIST has not arranged for the awarded contractor or their personnel to become an Area Director. Small businesses are encouraged to team up or partner with any large businesses if needed to meet the minimum requirements of the solicitation. Question 2: Is there an incumbent currently performing the work and if so is the incumbent eligible to bid on this work? Response 2: No, there is not an incumbent. This requirement is based on new NIST priorities. END OF TEXT.
