- COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION N00167-11-T-0119 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N00167-11-T-0119 applies and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) intends to award a firm fixed price contract using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR 13. The proposed contract action is being solicited on a sole-source basis to Information International Associates, Inc. (IIa). The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source pursuant to FAR Part 6 and 13. This acquisition is for services in support of ceramic materials properties informatics (databasing of ceramic material properties) and the contractor will host a workshop and submit data deliverables to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division. This requirement requires expertise in both ceramic materials properties and informatics for successful completion. The set-aside for small business concerns has been dissolved. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 51820 with an applicable size standard of $2.5M. SEE ATTACHED FILE FOR CLAUSES.
