Safety Requirements Appendix 'C'-Safety Requirements Statement of Work Dated 09 Sep 2011 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested. No separate written solicitation will be issued. THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT RESULT IN AN ORDER AGAINST NO FEDERAL SUPPLY SCHEDULE (FSS). ANY OFFER WHICH IS PREDICATED UPON THE AWARD BEING PLACED AGAINST AN FSS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. This requirement is set-aside 100% for small businesses. In accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR),only small businesses can submit offers and offers received must offer the product(s) manufactured by a small business. SMALL BUSINESS SIZE STANDARD: (a) NAICS: 339920 (b) NR OF EMPLOYEES: 500 This acquisition is for the upgrade of toddler playground at child development center (CDC) West and pre-school playground at CDC East, Robins AFB GA in accordance with the attached statement of work (SOW) and Appendix "C"-Safety Requirements attached herein. The actual manufacturer and previous supplier of the existing playground equipment for both the CDC West and East are unknown. Pictures of the existing playground equipment for both CDCs West and East were loaded strictly for information purposes only and are provided to provide clarification to the Government's requirements and needs. A site visit will be conducted on Monday 19 Sep 2011 at 1:00 P.M. All attendees are required to confirm attendance before 11:00 A.M.,19 Sep 2011 via e-mail to Jacqueline.Kittrell@robins.af.mil. All attendees are required to meet at the Robins AFB GA Visitor Center located off of GA Highway 247 and Watson Blvd,Warner Robins GA. No exceptions. To preclude from violating DoD and Robins AFB GA policies/procedures for visitors, your complete corporation is requested, encouraged and recommended. No exceptions to military veterans or military dependents participating in this site visit. In order to obtain permission to enter Robins AFB GA, all visitors are required to present a valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance. Price(s) should be FOB Destination (Robins AFB GA 31098). In addition to price and delivery, quote should include the RFQ (Request for Quote) Number, your cage code, DUNS number, and taxpayer ID number. Requested delivery date is 60 days ARO or earlier. All offers are also required to include the following: a. The removal of existing playground equipment for Child Development Center (CDC) West as indicated in the SOW; b. Procurement of the required brand new playground equipment for CDC West as indicated in the SOW; c. Installation of the brand new playground equipment for CDC West as indicated in the SOW; d. Procurement of the required brand new playground equipment for the pre-school for CDC East as indicated in the SOW; e. Installation of the required brand new equipment for pre-school for CDC East; and f. Acceptance to the attached statement of work (SOW) and Appendix "C"-Safety Requirements. Price(s) should be FOB Destination (Robins AFB GA 31098). In addition to price and delivery, quote should include the RFQ (Request for quote) number, your cage code, DUNS number, and taxpayer ID number. Requested delivery date is 60 days ARO or earlier. Quotations should be emailed to Jacqueline.Kittrell@robins.af.mil no later than 23 Sep 2011,6:00p.m. Eastern Standard Time. The anticipated award date is 30 Sep 2011. FAR 52,232-18 Availability of Funds (APR 1984) Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.
