- Description
- The United States Geological Survey, Western Ecological Research Center (WERC), Box Springs Field Station in Riverside, California intends to issue a noncompetitive modification to purchase order G10PX02961 to extend the period of performance and add additional field work. This additional field work is for the continued health evaluations of desert tortoises for the NTC Ft. Irwin Translocation Project, including translocation plots in the Southern Expansion and epidemiological study at Daggett; San Bernardino County. The period of performance will be extended to 15 October 2011. This requirement was initially issued using competitive procedures. This is not a request for quote and a solicitation will not be issued. The Government intends to award this requirement in accordance with the procedures of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). In accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(16)(i), all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency, no later than the closing date of this announcement. Responses must be in writing, by e-mail to the Contract Specialist at sklingler@usgs.gov. This notice and any resulting solicitation or contract conforms to the requirements in place through FAC 2005-53, Effective 04 August 2011.
