- NOTICE OF DECISION TO AWARD SINGLE-SOURCE: The Federal Aviation Administration FAA), NAS, Automation & Facilities Acquisition Division, Logistics Center Product Services Material Management Branch, AML-4060, proposes to acquire by single source acquisition, a FLIR Ranger HRC-U Thermal Camera in support of ADTO system for Customs and Border Protection. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center, intends to award a purchase order to FLIR Commercial vision Systems, Goleta, CA. This procurement is considered to be single-source based on the unique qualifications, continuity of services, and time constraints. Purpose of Announcement: In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System paragraph 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis of the FAA's decision to award with a selected source via single source procedures. This announcement is for informational purposes only, not a Solicitation/Request for Proposal.
