(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) HE600711RCG0122, Request For Quote (RFQ) is issued with no Set-Aside. The platform must contain tens of thousands of video clips and full-length videos intended to enhance the learning process. Content must come directly from the Discovery Channel and have options to choose from almost 200 other sources, such as the BBC, Scholastic and NASA. In addition to the video content, the program has add-on libraries, which can include foreign-language video clips, as well. The platform must also include tools to allow teachers the opportunity to create assignments, administer quizzes that are aligned to standards, and assign writing prompts. The system must be able to provide reports at the teacher, school and district level. Student accounts must be able to be created through an automated process from the school and district level Teacher accounts must be able to be created through an automated process from the school and district level Videos and curriculum on the following grades and topics must be available: Careers/Workplace Skills English/Language Arts Health Mathematics Research/Study Skills Science Social studies Teaching Practices Visual and Performing Arts World Languages ------------------------------------------------------------------- (iv) Period of Performance: One (1) Base year and two (2) option years starting upon contract award. (v) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Offers may be submitted by email or faxed to the designated point of contact. (vi) Vendors must be registered and active in Contractor Central Registration (CCR) http://www.ccr.gov/. (vii) Award will be made to the responsible vendor with low priced technically acceptable quote that meets the required furniture/equipment. Award is all or none basis. FAR 52.211-6, BRAND NAME OR EQUAL (AUG 1999), FAR 52.225-17, EVALUATION OF FOREIGN CURRENCY OFFERS (FEB 2000), and FAR 52.217-9, OPTION TO EXTEND THE TERM OF THE CONTRACT also applies to this RFQ.
