- General Services Administration National Capital Region GSA White House Service Center SPECIAL NOTICE The General Services Administration Services (GSA) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 13.106(b)(1), with RASCO Equipment Services Inc., 1635-3 Woodside Drive, Woodbridge, VA 22191. This service contract is to provide water filtration system maintenance service for needed essential operational services. Additionally, RASCO Equipment Services Inc. is the sole proprietary source for the initial installation of the water filtration system in this geographical area. The w ork performed under the contract resulting from this solicitation will be performed to support the White House Service Center (WHSC) and its mission. The contract period will be from September 30, 2011 through September 29, 2012, with four one-year renewal option periods. RASCO will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of this equipment on a yearly basis. The Government anticipates the award to be a firm-fixed - price purchase order. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations; however, companies that believe they can fulfill the requirement may provide a written response to this notice and provide clear and unambiguous evidence to substantiate the capability. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competition.
