Description

SAS ® Software Support Solution The Austin Information Technology Center (AITC) uses SAS (Statistical Analysis System) brand name software that is proprietary to SAS Institute, Inc., and needs recurring maintenance. No other maintenance will work with the SAS software. The AITC has a requirement for recurring SAS software maintenance. This acquisition will require SAS software maintenance and technical support. The AITC uses SAS brand name software by providing analytical capabilities on large volumes of data and enables applications to share information through SAS files on different hardware platforms and to interface between IBM Mainframe and SAS tools on an open systems environment. This acquisition will be posted on GSA e-Buy to Schedule 70 Contract Holders. Responses are required to be submitted through the GSA e-Buy website on or before October 1, 2011. Pursuant to the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 5.3, Synopses of Contract Awards, Subsection 5.301, General, all contract actions expected to be $25,000 or more shall be reported in the Forecast of Contracting Opportunities (FCO) maintained by the VA Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU). No responses are requested from this FBO posting.
